The Manchester MDA Committee are delighted to announce that the Guest Speaker at their 2009 Gala Dinner will be the comedienne RUBY WAX.
RUBY WAX is best known for her comedy and celebrity interviews. She was at the Royal Shakespeare Company for five years and was the script editor on "Absolutely Fabulous". Ruby Wax is widely known for the quickness of her wit and humour, but, in addition, she has extraordinary intellectual ability and is very astute about human behaviour. Her intelligence is breathtaking and something to be treasured.
2009 marks the 60th Anniversary of Magen David Adom in the UK and the Gala Dinner will be the highpoint of the MDAUK60 celebrations in Manchester.
It will also be the major fund-raising effort for 2009 for the "Hadera MDA Station Refurbishment Project" which the Manchester MDA Committee has taken on for the next two or three years.
